David Thoeng

David is a specialist in criminal law, liability law, construction law, contract law, insurance law and traffic law.
He graduated as a master in law at KU Leuven University in 2008 and as a master in notarial law at KU Leuven University in 2009.
In 2016 he obtained the certificate of Special Training in Cassation Procedure in Criminal Cases.
From 2009 to 2010 David worked in a notary’s office before joining, as a lawyer, the Bar of Tongeren and, in 2011, the Bar of Hasselt. In that year, he joined our law firm where he became a partner in 2019.
The motivation that underpins his work as a lawyer is the aim “to work decisively, empathetically and pragmatically towards a result that satisfies my clients, both legally and humanly'.
David is very keen on sport: he plays tennis and padel and loves running and skiing. He is a tennis instructor and board director of the tennis club TPC Laakdal.David lives in Olen in the Antwerp region and operates from our offices in Hasselt and in Geel.He is married and the proud father of his daughter, Julie.
